The principle
Nothing that measures your behaviour loads before you allow it. Until you choose, or if you decline, no request is made to Google's servers and no measurement or advertising cookie is created.

No permission, no cookies
If you decline, the only cookie created is c365_consent — precisely to record that you declined so we stop asking. That is the lot.
The three categories
Essential
They make the site work safely and remember your cookie decision. They do not identify you or follow you across other sites, which is why they cannot be turned off.
Analytics
They show us which pages genuinely help people and where the information falls short. Data is aggregated and the IP address is anonymised. We never advertise to you on the strength of it.
Advertising
They let us see whether an ad led to a call. The point is to avoid spending budget on ads that help nobody solve their problem.
Changing your mind
On any page, in the footer, there is a "Cookie settings" link. It opens the same panel of choices and your new decision applies immediately.
You can also delete cookies directly in your browser. If you do, we will simply ask again on your next visit.
Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2. In practice that means measurement tags start with every permission denied by default and are only updated after your choice — it is not a promise, it is how the site technically behaves.
